Six small hamlets make up the picturesque and unspoilt parish of Doddington and District situated 5 miles South of Nantwich in Cheshire: Blakenhall, Bridgemere, Checkley, Doddington, Hunsterson and Lea.
The parish is widespread, rural and dominated by farming. It is proud to have a good primary school, church and a new village hall. The community is made up of just over two hundred households with around 500 residents.
VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
There is a vacancy for a Councillor for (the West Ward of) the Parish of Doddington and District Parish Council
An election to fill the vacancy will be held if ten electors for the said Electoral area give notice to the Returning Officer requesting such an election within 14 days (excluding Saturdays Sundays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday) of the date of this notice.
